450, CHEMIN DU GOLF III

François and Dorianne are a typical young suburban couple: they have one child, a bungalow, a swimming pool, and a "busybody" neighbour... François, who works in downtown Montréal, is a city-dweller at heart. On the road of life, he feels stranded in a traffic jam of his competing ideals, caught between the excitement of urban life and the banal ordinariness of his suburban existence.

ANNIE ET SES HOMMES III

Annie et ses hommes offers a humorous look at the life of a 40-year-old woman. In each episode, Annie draws us into the whirlwind of her daily life. In Season I, we were introduced to Annie and her circle. In Season II, we watched as the Annie-Hugo relationship managed to survive the pressures of infidelity. This year, will they manage to stay together despite the fact their lifestyle choices keep them apart? Annie et ses hommes casts a realistic and amused look at contemporary adulthood. This sparkling dramatic comedy draws a wonderful portrait of a unique woman and those in her life.

CASTING

This drama brings together 13 students in their early twenties who attend the same university. The school has become the focal point of their lives. Indeed, they have gradually become "lords of the manor" on campus, and as such they lead lives rich in adventure, misadventure, mystery, intrigue and the unforeseen. This unique dramatic series has an added twist: the actors, working from a basic storyline, improvise their script. Who knows what will happen next in this world without a safety net?

COEUR A SES RAISONS (LE)

Le coeur a ses raisons is a thoroughly over-the-top drama where storylines involving love affairs, family dramas, power struggles, betrayals, intrigue, adulteries and illegitimate children are taken to their extreme... and where the classic struggle of good versus evil is played out. This tragic, home-grown family saga has more than its share of intrigue and completely absurd characters.

COVER GIRL

Cover Girl whisks us off into a parallel universe: that of three men determined to take their desire to live as transvestites out of the closet and into the real world. Audacity, rivalry, love, helplessness and friendship are on the menu. However, Cover Girl is also a disrespectful, frenzied, biting and impertinent comedy which isn't shy about attacking social taboos. It is firmly grounded in its time (and times are hard!) and aimed at viewers with a taste for scathing and explosive comedy.

FALCON BEACH: THE MOVIE

It is the May 24th long weekend. In the resort town of Falcon Beach, plans are underway for the annual summer kick-off party. Jason Tanner and Danny Ellis continue the local tradition of helping themselves to party supplies from closed-up cottages. But they are caught in the act by the wealthy Ginny Bradshaw and her spoiled daughter, Paige. Paige is in Falcon Beach for 72 hours and, for Jason and Danny, that is already too long... Hot music, blue skies and freedom reign in the Canadian summer.

In order to satisfy his need for freedom and appease his desires, Luc is driven to defy the forces of convention. GODIVA'S

Welcome to Godiva's. Like its namesake, the bistro is bold, sexy and quick to strip bare. A funky canteen provides a high-energy backdrop for an assortment of people who gather to create the "magic" of this bar and restaurant. Despite their dysfunctions and dramas, restaurant's staff share a need for connection. The city can be cold and cruel, so these folks take their family where they can find it. And you know what they say: the family that eats together, stays together.

HÉRITIÈRE DE GRANDE OURSE (L')

Five years have elapsed since Biron, the journalist, assisted by his colleague, Louis-Bernard Lapointe, uncovered mysterious phenomena in the northern Quebec village of Grande Ourse. Lapointe, who decided to stay in the village, now suffers from horrible nightmares and keeps seeing the same macabre images over and over - images which can be traced back to the same source: Verdeuil, a suburb of Montréal. And so begins the second cycle of the fantasy drama Grande Ourse, which has become a huge hit in Quebec.

HISTOIRE DE FAMILLE

Robert Gagné, his wife May and their four children live a quiet life on a small farm in Quebec's Eastern Townships. By following each of these characters, their destinies, their determination, this series chronicles an entire time and place. From popular music - Les Jérolas to Beau Dommage, Billy Haley and the Comets to The Beatles - to politics - the arrival of Jean Lesage's government in 1960 to the election of the Parti Québécois in 1976... "we see it all, we live through it all".

NÉGOCIATEUR (LE)

It is the 1970s, and Quebec is experiencing an unprecedented number of bank heists, kidnappings and hostage-takings. Poorly prepared when facing certain situations, the police forces often have little choice than to negotiate with criminals, usually through go-betweens such as reporters. Mac Cloutier is one such go-between, neither cop nor crook, a man who walks a fine line between good and evil. This drama series, based on the life of well-known justice reporter Claude Poirier, tells Cloutier's story.

NEWSROOM III (THE)

The third series of The Newsroom takes a riotous ride back into local TV news, where George Findlay, the acerbic, self-absorbed news director, heads a team of unlikely producers who find themselves in truly funny situations. This season has George stealing intellectual properties, fabricating medical conditions, killing a media tycoon with a piece of gristly steak, pondering his supposed latent homosexual tendencies, trying to get advice from his catatonic paralysed shrink, and being shortlisted for the Order or Canada.

NORTHERN TOWN

In this comedic series shot entirely in the Yukon, we follow Brian, a young man who torpedoes his own best efforts at success - until potential pay-dirt arrives in the form of a meteorite which conveniently falls somewhere in the vast wilderness surrounding his small Northern Town. In the race to find the interstellar object, he tries to pit his Yukon street smarts against the encroaching, and lamely surreptitious, military might of the United States, such as it is in this frozen outpost.

NOS ÉTÉS

Nos étés traces the story of two families whose fortunes have been intertwined for 100 years over the course of the 20th century: the Desrochers, wealthy merchants from Montréal, and the Belziles, modest farmers from Cacouna, a village located on the shores of the Saint Lawrence River. The story turns on a key moment: the summer holidays of the bourgeois class. The series is set entirely during the summer, and chronicles one family's vacation at Cap-sur-Mer. Nos Étés looks back on a particular period of Quebec's history and in so doing sheds light on its present.

ONE DEAD INDIAN

In September 1995, Dudley George was shot and killed by a provincial police officer during a peaceful protest in Ontario's Ipperwash Provincial Park over a long-standing Aboriginal ancestral burial-ground claim. The tragic events left Dudley's brother Sam with a "mission," and Canadians asking "why?". One Dead Indian is a gripping and timely television drama that recounts the incident and chronicles the determination of Sam George and the Stoney Point People to ensure that Dudley George did not die in vain.

PURE LAINE

Pure Laine introduces a "typical" contemporary Montréal family. Dominique, originally from Haiti, is married to Chantale, a "purebred" Quebecer. Their adopted daughter, Ming, was born in China. "I don't see how our family could be any more québécois," says Dominique, with no small measure of irony. "It's like shepherd's pie: a mix of white, yellow and brown!"

RAMDAM IV

www.telequebec.qc.ca/ramdam

Ramdam shakes to the rhythm of a large, blended family. The series is all about the comings and goings, the daily whirlwind of a family heavily populated by teens: the stories are true to life, the dialogue is sharp and funny, and there's plenty of action. Reality and comedy are the hallmarks of this series, which is also driven by the imaginations of its three main characters, Sélina, Simon and Manolo.

RENÉ LÉVESQUE

René Lévesque was one of the dominant figures of 20th-century Quebec. This program retraces his remarkable life in the years from 1958 to 1970: his departure from the Gaspé region, his place of birth; Jean Lesage's electoral victory in 1960, which ushered in the Quiet Revolution; the nationalization of Quebec's electricity companies, which Levesque spearheaded; the creation of Quebec's sovereignty movement in the late 1960s; the October Crisis of 1970.

RUMEURS III

What do a somewhat-misanthropic sports reporter, an editor-in-chief suffering from Imposter Syndrome and a sexy stylist with a caustic tongue have in common? Almost nothing... That's the premise of the sharp and invigorating comedy Rumeurs, which follows a group of employees on a woman's magazine in their frenzied search for the modern-day equivalent of the Holy Grail: happiness. In Season III, Rumeurs' flora and fauna encounter all that life sends their way: blows and kicks, moments of joy, and incidents of pure absurdity.

VICE CACHÉ

The residents of Croissant des Gémeaux - a lovely cul-de-sac of houses with cathedral ceilings, decorative columns, in-ground pools and luxury cars - have, on the surface, every reason to be happy. Behind the beautiful facades, however, lie complicated lives, dark secrets and well-hidden failures. Money doesn't buy happiness, nor can it soothe the misery which afflicts the characters' lives. Infidelity, jealousy, scheming, lying: these are just a few of the many dubious activities on Croissant des Gémeaux.

WAKING UP WALLY - THE WALTER GRETZKY STORY

From his backyard rink, where he first teaches his kids to play hockey, Walter Gretzky dedicates himself to his two loves - hockey and his family. He is the first person to coach his son, Wayne, perhaps the best hockey player the world has ever known. After suffering a stroke, however, Walter refuses to lace up a pair of skates and has no memory at all of Wayne's hockey triumphs. WHISKEY ECHO

Set on the front lines of civil war in South Sudan. A group of multinational relief workers struggles to deliver medical aid, while natural catastrophe triggers human catastrophe, and drought leads to escalating conflict and famine. Tension becomes unbearable as larger and larger civilian populations are displaced. Set against this inexorable tide of events, we see the personal triumphs and tragedies that bind our medical team to this place at the end of the world.
