CANADA IN SPACE - LIFTOFF

Canada in Space - Liftoff is an exciting, technically advanced, interactive flight simulation program that puts users aboard NASA’s Space Shuttle. The 3D virtual tour allows the user to take a detailed tour of the external and internal components of the Space Shuttle, while realistic Shuttle and Canadarm2 simulators let them experience various training mission segments aboard the Shuttle and the International Space Station. The program’s educational components also allow users to explore a variety of topics in depth. These include: mapping, latitude, longitude, time zones; geological features, environmental threats; coordinate geometry (x,y,z movements); mass vs. weight in space; physical fitness, nutrition, food groups, menu planning; and career planning.
