The Junos are the showcase for Canada’s musical artists including those nominated for the Aboriginal Artist of the Year award. This documentary features Aboriginal nominees at a ceremony honouring their work held at the Burton Cummings Theatre in Winnipeg, along with in-depth interviews. The artists include Taima from Nunavik, Florent Volant and Claude McKenzie from northern Quebec, interviewed at home in Montreal, and Métis artist Wayne Lavallée, interviewed at his home in Vancouver.
