Useful Tools - Creative Evaluation Grid

Note: In the aim of enhancing the transparency and consistency of its coproduction assessment process, Telefilm has developed several grids that will be used to evaluate coproduction projects. These grids are not an integral part of the coproduction guidelines; however, they will serve as analysis tools within Telefilm to assess the creative and technical aspects of projects under consideration.

It should be reiterated that projects must first and foremost score the required minimum creative positions, as these positions are defined in Telefilm’s coproduction guidelines. In the event that projects fail to score the minimum number of points, they would then be evaluated by means of the grids, which also provide for a bonus-point system. Finally, it should be noted that Telefilm always allows for projects to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, should projects be deemed more complex or atypical than usual.
