The Festival waives its entry fees for feature films presented at the Canadian Selection Screenings in Montréal (narratives) or Los Angeles (documentaries).
**Short Films Must Be Submitted Directly to the Festival**
Each year, Sundance highlights new trends in independent filmmaking and introduces emerging filmmakers. It presents around 115 feature films and 70 short films for the Festival’s 11 different programs.
